SUMMARY

Using a pseudonym to have some fun in London is all well and good, until your girlfriend's cousin does the same and ensnares your ward! Ooook! Productions presents Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy of mistaken identity and witty satire of Victorian ways in Durham’s Assembly Rooms.

First performed in 1895, 'The Importance of Being Earnest' has enjoyed continuing popularity and praise, and is considered by many to mark Wilde's artistic career at its highest.

Profits will be donated to Barnardo's, the UK's leading children's charity.

Admission: £6(£5.50)
