SUMMARY

Following on from productions of 'Macbeth' and 'The Glass Menagerie', award-winning company Thrust Stage are excited to present their ground-breaking new production of Jez Butterworth's modern epic 'Jerusalem'.

On St George's Day, the morning of the local county fair, Johnny 'Rooster' Byron, local waster and modern-day Pied Piper, is a wanted man. Surrounded by a motley crew of scoundrels and swindlers, Byron champions a rebellion against the council officials trying to evict him.

Heralded as one of the best dramas of the new century and made famous by the iconic Olivier and Tony award-winning production starring Mark Rylance, this production is sure to be one of the highlights of the theatrical year.
