SUMMARY

Join us from the 2nd until the 4th of December for the Woodplayers' production of 'Dracula'.

Confined within the oppressive walls of her father’s Sanatorium in early 20th Century England, Lucy Seward is taken ill with an inexplicable sickness that plunges the house and its occupants into a sequence of dark and fantastical events. The roots of the natural world are torn apart as bug-eating maniacs, werewolves, bats, and the bloodthirsty un- dead are unleashed upon their reality. John Harker fights alongside Dr Seward to revive his fiancé, relying on the unconventional methods of the infamous Professor Van Helsing to lead them through the chaos and torment of the supernatural. This early adaptation of Brahm Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’ draws on the seductive powers of the dark and the extraordinary to test the strength of love, courage and faith when all else is lost.
